I Have Accepted Jesus Christ,
What Now?
First, rejoice and be glad. You
are free my brother or sister. Jesus as washed away your sin
with his precious blood.
Second, buy a Bible so you can learn the Word of God. Through
scripture you will learn how to live, what God is like, Who he
is, what he expects, His feelings and what he did foe us to
attain salvation. You can develop a close relationship with the
Lord through Scripture. He speaks to you through Scripture.
Third, Pray. Talk to the Lord. Let Him strengthen you where you
need be strengthened. Ask Him to help you where you are
helpless. Praise Him for what he has already done for you. We
live to bring him Glory. Its awesome.
Fourth, find a church. Remember the church is not the building.
The church is the people inside the building. The church are the
Lords people. Find out the churches mission statement. Make sure
the church is studying strait from The Bible and not twisting
scripture around. Make sure Jesus is at the forefront and that
your not listening to a motivational speaker. Church is
important, that’s why God started it. At church we learn and
study the Word of God, we get to worship our Lord and give him
Thanks, and we get to fellowship with other brothers and sisters
in Christ.
Fifth, Is worship. Take some time to worship through just
talking with him, admiring him, singing to him, staying in awe
of him by enjoying his creation, we all worship in different
ways.
Sixth, Tell people about him. Someone told you. He commands us
(Mark 15:16) That is how he gets his word out. He loves to use
us in so much that he does as you see in the bible, so that he
gets all the glory. You just need to be willing. He will do the
rest. Amen.
Now the Lord will start making all things new in your life. He
does not care about the past. Be careful, Satan is going to be
all over you now. See, before you gave your life to the Lord
Jesus, Satan had you right where he wanted you. Now that you
found the Truth he is going to tempt you left and right. He will
try to render you useless for the kingdom of God. The Lord will
never Temp you. Continue to ask the Lord for strength.
